Don’t get me wrong, I love Kevin Spacey, but we all know he’s too old to be playing Bobby Darin (Kevin is 45 and Bobby Darin died at age 37.) but casting Kate Bosworth (who is 21 y.o.) as Sandra Dee is adding insult to injury. There was only an 8 year age difference between Bobby and Sandra which is just a tad less than the 23 year age difference between Kevin and Kate.
And now…
Dennis Quaid (50) is going to be starring in a Spade Cooley biopic with Katie Holmes (25) playing his wife. I have no problem seeing older men with women in film or vice versa, but when you’re doing a biopic on someone, there needs to be some semblance of believeability. These men are literally old enough to be these girls’ fathers and it’s just not accurate.

I was at the John Lennon tribute thing and Kevin was quite a little show stopper but he's just way too old for the role.

I saw Kevin in concert in SF recently and he really has it all to portray Bobby as I remember him.I can't wait until the movie comes out!

They should have cast someone older than Kate Bosworth for the role so as not to make the age difference between the two actors so glaringly obvious.
